You can choose a time that suits you, and the service is free and confidential. Your pharmacist can give the same expert advice about selecting and managing your contraceptive pills as your GP surgery. You can talk to them one-to-one in a private consultation room.

Our pharmacist will advise you on the most appropriate emergency contraceptive option and offer any help or support that you may need. Emergency Hormonal Contraception, better known as the ‘morning after pill’, is one of the options used to prevent pregnancy when other methods of contraception, such as condoms, have failed.

• Emergency contraception is most effective the sooner it is taken, however, it can be taken up to 120 hours (5 days) after unprotected sex.

Simply register with the pharmacy at our Solihull branch to dispense your regular repeat NHS prescriptions, ask to become a MedPoint collection patient and you will receive a text containing a QR code and a pin, when your prescription is ready to be collected.
