The Government has today launched an £85 million programme to give people in the UK living with obesity access to support services in pharmacies and through other routes such as 'digital platforms' and 'local community-based access'.
Oral emergency contraception will now be available for free without an appointment for those who need it at Browns Pharmacy across the West Midlands and Hinckley Pharmacy in Leicestershire.
NHS England has said almost 400,000 people in England have used the prescription tracking feature in the NHS app while 1,650 pharmacies have offered it to patients in the 10 weeks since it launched.
